I like the use of colours and the positioning of the model(slightly off centre) in relation to the background.
There is an element of peace which the Japanese garden background evokes and the closed eyelids of the model also contributes to the overall peaceful effect.
There is also an element of mystery which is emphasized by the smoke and the positioning of the model in terms of the fact that one doesn't see her full face.
So If I had to choose two words to describe this piece - it would be peaceful and mysterious.
I do feel incorporating ornate, fantasy typography at the top of the piece, on the green background next to the birds would have added a fantasy element which would have enhanced the artwork.
Overall this piece is very striking, eye catching and has good image manipulation techniques.
